Sad News…..

It has not been easy to write in my blog. On May 23, of this year, we had to put Obie down.

It was one of the hardest things we have ever had to do. He was such a good boy and we

miss him terribly. After two years of being on insulin for his diabetes, he just got real sick.

I looked out the door one morning, to see him throwing up lots of phlegm, while he was

trying to go pee. That was heartbreaking and between Bobbie and I and the vet, we made

the that horrible decision. He is free now. We loved him dearly and we were with him at the

end with lots of kisses and hugs. I will be back soon……I miss you all too.

obiedeck   As I write this, our kitchen floor is being torn up and replaced. I am hold up

in my living room and he is pounding right outside the door! It’s very irritating but it has to be done.

I hope all of you are doing well. I will visit soon….just a lot going on right now….Debbie

I'm so sorry. I know pets are like members of the family. We love them that much.

Oh Debbie....my heart goes out to you. I'm so very sorry. It's never, never easy is it? *sigh*. My friend had to put her Beagle Dynah down, gee probably about the same time. Seems every blog I am visiting lately a beloved pet is lost. I will be praying for your healing and Obie is definitely healed and running around in doggy Heaven!! Hang in there! xoxo Love from Michelle, Mocha, Quincy and Emma. xoxo

Oh Debbie I am so sorry and now I feel guilty that I was missing you.

Obie was such a handsome guy and over the Rainbow Bridge now he is just lapping up all the goodies now that he is free of the darn ole diabetes and he will be there to greet Mom and Dad when they cross over.

So sorry. I know it is hard. I still miss my black lab and it has been 14 years. It was almost like losing a child.

Thank you all for your kind words. I am so touched. We miss our good boy so much but we both feel like he is with us still. Baby (our cat) sees him... I swear...we both saw her staring at him...it was weird. Thanks again...I'll be back...
