It’s been really hard to do much of anything lately because of my plantar fasciitis. It is terribly painful. I saw an orthotic guy recently and he is making me a pair of orthotics. They took molds of my feet. They called this morning with the bill…..350.00! Ouch! Boy….nothing is cheap these days! Insurance does not cover these. They will be ready soon and I am in hopes that it will start to alleviate my foot pain and I my life will be back to normal. Meanwhile, standing, sitting, lying down are all painful. I do have an almost pain free day here and there and I cherish them! Yesterday and today are not one of those days. So….I am neglecting many things….
1. Weeding my garden
2. Housework
3. Painting some patio furniture
4. Taking a daily walk for my heart
5. Going to yard sales
6. Redoing my blog
7. Visiting a lot of you
I sit here at the computer as long as I can. My foot is killing me right now so it is time to go. Be back when I am feeling better, but in the meanwhile, I do enjoy coming by your blog for a peek or to linger for a while and enjoy what you have written! It cheers me up so thanks!!

I hope the orthotics help! I know from experience that plantar fascitis is painful!
I hope that you are soon feeling 100%! I enjoy your blog and visit often. Take care.
Oh, Debbie! I'm so sorry you're having such a painful time. I do hope the orthotics work for you! Take care of yourself and we'll all be here when you feel like blogging.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Try taking an old large size soda bottle, filling it with water and freezing it. Put the frozen bottle on the floor and roll it back and forth with your foot. My sister swore by that. It helped with the pain.
Oh Debby, I sympathize with you, having had knee, and hip pain off and on the last 12 years. I know those orthotics can be quite pricey. I hope you are feeling a lot better real soon. My thoughts and prayers are with you, dear friend.
Hugs, Kathleen
Debby, I hope you are feeling better soon! and your list could be mine! Oh well, it's not like all those things will run-a-way, they will be there. Drats!
Eva:...Thanks for the sympathy Eva! I am hopeful because I know you had it and now don't? I am looking forward to pain free days.
Wendy:...Well hello! I will come by and see you too! Thanks!!
Sheila: Thanks my friend...I know you are always there.
Evansmom: Oh I have heard of rolling the bottle but not the frozen one! What a great idea! I did wrap that tootsie in soft ice packs today and it worked!! Whooohoo! Thanks for the advice!
Kathleen:...Thanks for reminding me that I am not the only one in the world that has pain! Sometimes it's all about me!! Arggggg
Dawn:...Gosh...that's right! You are very busy with your room and lots of other things and you have a list like mine! You know...we are such busy girls that even if we had ALL our chores done we would be looking for something else to do!
I hope they help and hope you heal soon. Stopped by from NEB to say hi.
hello! feeling you pain! i've had pf for 15 years...started with heel pain in the mornings right? then pain after too much time on my feet. tried cortisone shots, orthotics, naproxyn, night splints, and eswt procedure. i never wear flat shoes, or go barefoot, swear by frozen water bottles to help with inflammation, and i wear fit flops when the weather permits! you can live with it by wearing your ortotics with well made shoes...saucony and born and softspots are the best! spend a little money on your shoes and you won't regret it! good luck!!!! ellen
